Inforum Course: Fundraising For Internet Society Chapters

Course Overview

The voluntary services of Internet Society (ISOC) Chapter members can achieve many things, but invariably there will come a time when they need additional resources in order to achieve the objectives of their Chapter. Additional resources may be required in terms of funds for general operating expenses; gifts in the form of grants from individuals, corporations or government institutions for projects; office space and donated services, such as Web hosting, and free email services; and part-time staff. To be successful at attracting (and keeping) these resources, Chapters will need to know how to fundraise. The aim of this online course is to provide Chapter members with the information they need to ensure the Chapter has the right resources to satisfy its aims.
