Since the last Plenipotentiary Conference in 2018, Internet threats have escalated prompting governments to prioritize cybersecurity at the national and international level. Among other threats, the multi stakeholder governance model, particularly the IGF framework have been closely scrutinized to give governments greater control.
The Internet Society, with a delegation on the ground, will be attending this year’s Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-22), which will take place from 26 September-14 October in Bucharest, Romania. The team of experts will advocate for maintaining the status quo of the Internet. But we can’t do it alone. We need our organization members who also care about the multistakeholder model, to advocate with us. As a member, you could be a great force to support achieve the Plenipotentiary Conference 2022 KPIs.
