The Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR) is held each year by the ITU Telecommunication Development Sector drawing heads of national telecom/ICT regulatory authorities and policy makers to share their views and experiences on the some of the pressing regulatory issues they have identified. The event is open to industry leaders and other key ICT stakeholders from ITU-D Sector Members.
GSR 2021 was virtual and the theme was the “Regulation for digital transformation: Accelerating inclusive connectivity, access and use.” The event kicked off with an opening and leadership debate on June 21, titled “Collaborative regulation for digital transformation”. Additional sessions were held throughout June 2021.
