Successful ISOC-sponsored NDSS Symposium extends Internet security knowledge

New research findings in web security, intrusion detection, host security and related topics are among the outcomes of the 16th Annual Network and Distributed System Security (NDSS) Symposium, held in San Diego, California, 8-11 February. Leading researchers and practitioners presented twenty peer-reviewed papers at the event, which are now available online.

The symposium also featured a presentation on penetration testing by Ivan Arce, CTO and co-founder of Core Security Technologies; and a talk on secure programming with static analysis by Brian Chess of Fortify Software. The program also included a works-in-progress session and a presentation on the
National Science Foundation’s GENI Project.
