ISOC posts report of Internet Governance survey

The Internet Society conducted a survey of members on the topic of Internet Governance in April and May 2009. The purpose was to assist ISOC in addressing Internet governance issues in the discussion up to and including the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Sharm El Sheikh in November 2009. It was also designed to help ISOC contribute to the current consultation on “the desirability of the continuation of the Forum in formal consultation with Forum participants” after 2010.

The summary of the results is now available here.

The results will be reported to the IGF Open Consultations sessions starting in Geneva on 13 May.

ISOC is grateful to all members who took the time to inform us about their experience and analysis of the Internet governance debate.
