Together with our Organization Member Telia Carrier, we presented two webinar sessions focused on the must-know aspects of routing security.
The first webinar entitled Introduction to Routing Security and MANRS provided an introduction to routing security, the issues with the global BGP routing system, and the Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS) initiative that encourages basic routing security actions including filtering, anti-spoofing, coordination, and address prefix validation. It also introduced participants to available educational resources including online tutorials and implementation guides. It also provided a brief demonstration of the MANRS Observatory tool and some practical implementation guidance.
