Internet Society is organizing the workshop:
Imagine the Internet did not exist. How would this affect your organization’s mission and impact? Some of us can remember the world pre-Internet, others have never known life without it. And many — about half the world’s population — are not connected to the Internet.
In this session, we get a healthy dose of appreciation for the Internet by visiting its past, exploring its future and, most importantly, considering the impact it enables for the social sector.
After all, the power is not in the Internet. The power is what people can do with the Internet.
