Expanding the Caribbean Internet – Peering, Resilience and Content

 The Caribbean Peering and Interconnection Forum (CarPIF) is a unique forum providing participants with regional as well as global insights on how the Caribbean can maximize the opportunities that can be derived for greater interconnection and peering between local, regional and international internet service providers. The 2019 event focused on new opportunities to build Internet Exchange Point (IXP) and the important role human relationships play.

The agenda centered around 3 topics:

  • Strengthening Caribbean Network Resilience;
  • Peering and Transit Strategies;
  • Content, Policy, and Opportunities
