APRICOT 2021

Routing security is vital to the future and stability of the Internet.

APRICOT, the annual Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technologies offered online technical training from February 22 to 26, and the conference itself took place from March 1 to 4.

The Internet Society has been a key supporter of APRICOT over the years, and its capacity building and training programmes in particular. This partnership has helped develop the next generation of technical experts and leaders in the region.

  • APNIC Routing Security SIG, chaired by the Internet Society’s Aftab Siddiqui, it covered a range of topics
  • Securing Routing featuring two talks on BGP hijacks and RPKI in India
