Best Current Operational Practices – Regional Efforts

The Deploy360 team is engaged in talking to Network Operator Groups (NOGs) and encouraging them to develop regional Best Current Operational Practices (BCOP) initiatives.

These initiatives aim to collect and document operational knowledge and practices from experienced network engineers, that can be reviewed on a periodic basis by the Internet community. We also encourage network operators to document how they deploy new technologies including IPv6, DNSSEC, TLS and routing resilience/security, so their experiences may assist others in doing so.

This page lists the regional BCOP efforts and provides links to the published documents. If we’ve missed something, please contact us at [email protected] and we’ll be pleased to add it.

Please also read our blog posts about BCOPs, and see the topics that have been identified as potential BCOPs.
