Destiny Tchéhouali (Benin / Canada) is Professor of International communication at the University of Québec at Montreal (UQAM) and Director of the Observatory of Networks and Interconnections in the Digital Society (in French, Observatoire des Réseaux et Interconnexions de la Société numérique - ORISON). He holds a Ph.D. in Geography of Information Society from Université Toulouse Jean-Jaurès (France). His current research interests are focused on Internet Governance, digital sovereingty and geopolitics of cyberspace, ICTs for development (ICT4D), Digital innovation and digital divide in Africa, Diversity of cultural expressions in digital era, Impacts of digital distribution platforms/media on national cultural and creative industries.
