Senior Vice President, People and Culture

As the Senior Vice President of People and Culture at the Internet Society, I have the privilege of overseeing the Human Resources and Administration department. My role involves guiding the organization's workforce through strategic initiatives and programs designed to empower our dedicated staff and managers in fulfilling our vital mission.

With more than two decades of leadership experience in esteemed private sector entities such as Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies, Northrop Grumman, L3Harris, and Viavi Solutions, I bring a wealth of expertise to my role as a human resources executive. My proficiency lies in accomplishing strategic objectives through advanced analytical, diagnostic, and collaborative skills. I specialize in developing authentic and enduring solutions for intricate organizational challenges, including navigating through acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, and periods of rapid growth.

Before joining the Internet Society, I served as the head of the Human Resources department at United Methodist Family Services, where I supported a nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding children, teenagers, and parents in overcoming various challenges.

My roots trace back to Silver Spring, Maryland, and I hail from a multicultural background; my parents met in Germany on a US Military Base, instilling in me a deep love for global travel and an appreciation for diverse cultures. I am an alumna of the Catholic University of America, holding a bachelor’s degree in business. Additionally, I earned my juris doctorate and MBA from the University of Maryland and successfully passed the Maryland State Bar.
