The Internet Society Elections Committee is pleased to announce the final results of the 2026 elections and the IETF selections for the Board of Trustees.
Voting concluded on 30 March. The results were announced and the challenge period was opened on 31 March. The deadline to file challenges was 7 April at 15:00 UTC. One challenge was filed. According to the Procedures for Selecting Trustees, the Board of Trustees reviewed the challenge and rejected it.
Therefore, the election results announced on 31 March stand.
In the chapters election, Caleb Ogundele and Ramanou Biaou have been reelected to a 3-year term each.
In the organization members election, Sharon Kent has been elected to a 3-year term.
Following the process documented in RFC 3677, the Internet Architecture Board (IAB) has selected Brian Trammell on behalf of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) to serve on the Internet Society board for a 3-year term.
The terms for all four trustees will commence with the Internet Society Board of Trustees 2026 Annual General Meeting in July.
