- Alicia Castillo (Community Fellowship, Learning @ Internet Society Tutor Training) is leading a course on AI for networking planning and design for the Internet Socuety Puerto Rico Chapter.
- Kateryna Bovsunovska (IGF Youth Ambassador Program) contributed to the launch of the Guide on Best Practices for Electronic Business Registries at UNIDROIT, the result of five years of work under the BPER Project.
- Everton Rodrigues (Mid Career Fellowship) was appointed to the board of LACTLD.
- Milena Cramer (Community Fellowship) is facilitating the Youth Brazil Program from NIC.br, training young people entering Internet governance with a goal of reaching 150 participants online.
- Godsway Kubi (Community Fellowship) is serving on the Local Organizing Committee for the 15th Africa Internet Governance Forum.
- Abraham Selby (IGF Youth Ambassador Program) was featured on local news to discuss social media age restrictions.
- Jackie Akello (Youth Ambassador Program) authored an opinion piece on enabling cross-border data flows in Africa while protecting rights and privacy.
- Milena Cramer (Community Fellowship) and Paula Corte Real (Youth@IGF Fellowship) served as co-coordinators of the Meaningful Connectivity Working Group at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Internet Society Brazil Chapter (FIB16).
- Dikchya Raut (Youth@IGF Fellowship) led a digital safety workshop for female journalists in the age of AI in collaboration with Amnesty International.
- Aminata Dembélé (Early Career Fellowship) was named the Pioneer Laureate of the Muriel Alapini Award 2026, recognizing her leadership in cybersecurity, AI, and advancing women in technology.
- Theorose Dzineku (Youth Ambassador Program) is co-curating MozFest. She will play a significant role in shaping the tracks, reading proposals, and ultimately deciding what the festival becomes.
- German Lopez Ardilla (Early Career Fellowship) delivered cybersecurity and interoperability training with Red Ciudadana for government officials in Guatemala.
- Amged Shwedhy (Early Career Fellowship) served as a panelist in a UN Economic Commission for Africa webinar on digital transformation and trade in North Africa.
- Alfonce Ouma (Learning @ Internet Society Tutor Training) is helping to expand rural connectivity in Kenya by deploying new hotspot access points in Muhuru, Migori County, through GONLINE Africa.
- Mutegeki Cliff Agaba (Mid Career Fellowship) was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of CETA, advancing work on digital inclusion, connectivity, and youth empowerment in Uganda.
Our Alumni Network is open to anyone who has completed one of our fellowships, ambassador programs, policy maker programs, or who is a training tutor, or learners who have completed at least one Learning @ Internet Society track.
