Solomon is an ICT professional and a Network Engineer, passionate about the development of Community Networks in Africa and the rest of the world. He Holds a degree in Information Technology from Islamic University Uganda, Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute and Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Gulu University.

In a bid to improve his skills in ICT Solomon has taken various courses over the years including; CISCO Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) Certificate, Solar PV Installation Certificate from (Creec) and Village Energy, Building Community Wireless Network (ISOC), IETF Hackathon Certificate, African School of Internet Governance (AfriSIG2019) Certificate and Community Networks Technical certificate.

Solomon is currently working as Technical Manager ICT and Energy Infrastructure and as a peer learning member in the APC LOCNET Project. He has a rich professional experience working as IT Assistant at Gulu District Local Government, IT/Logistic Assistant at Bladina Safety and Wares Limited and with BOSCO-Uganda as Project Assistant responsible for ICT Trainings at all ICT sites in Northern Uganda.
