Biography

Matogoro holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He is finalizing his PhD in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Dodoma, working to utilize television white space technology to deliver affordable broadband Internet in rural Tanzania.

Matogoro is an Open Internet Engineering, Mozilla Fellow for the year 2019-2020 hosted by the Internet Society. Presently, Matogoro is working to scale-up community owned cooperative societies in Tanzania. He is also an active member in many forums in Africa and beyond.

He currently represents the African Internet End-Users to the Second Security, Stability and Resiliency Review Team (ICANN SSR2 RT).
