Jabhera Matogoro is currently working as Assistant Lecturer and the Coordinator of Microsoft Innovation Center at the University of Dodoma, Tanzania. He has BSc. in Computer Science from University of Dar es Salaam, MSc. in Computer Science from the University of Dodoma and he is doing PhD in Telecommunication Systems at the University of Dodoma specializing on Spectrum Management where he is looking on the possibility of using TV White Space to opportunistically deliver wireless broadband communication in Tanzania Context. He is also volunteering as Manager, Dodoma Internet Exchange Point and Interim Secretary of ISOC Tanzania Chapter.
Mr. Matogoro is an active member in various mailing list hosted by various organizations including ICANN, ISOC, Africa CERT, AfNOG and tzNOG just to mention a few. He has attended and delivered a number of technical workshops including Network Monitoring and Management, Network Security at Bangalore, Cyber Security, Windows 8 Apps Development, Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Scalable Network Infrastructure, Systems and Network Security, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, etc.
Mr. Matogoro is married to Pendo Mseti Nyamhanga with four children (Witness, Bryan, Winfrida and Lightness).
