To coincide with the start of the ‘World Summit on the Information Society’ in Geneva, Internet pioneer Dr. Robert E. Kahn and Internet Society President and CEO, Ms. Lynn St.Amour will present an independent overview of the issues behind the current debate surrounding Internet Governance. Dr. Kahn, whose work on the development of the TCP/IP protocol laid the foundation for today’s Internet, is one of the most respected members of the Internet community. He is also one of the founders of the Internet Society.

Plans for INET/IGC 2004, the Internet Society’s upcoming major international Internet conference to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from May 10th to 14th 2004, will also be announced during the conference.

We invite all members of the media with an interest in Internet issues to attend.
