The Internet Society Names New Regional Bureau Director for North America

[Washington, D.C.] The Internet Society today announced that it has appointed Mark Buell to the role of Regional Bureau Director for North America. In this role starting May 2, he will be responsible for building awareness of the Internet Society and advancing its mission of promoting an open, secure Internet for the benefit of all people.

Mark brings a wealth of policy, technology and Internet governance experience to his new role, having worked for the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) and the National Aboriginal Health Organization Ottawa (NAHO).
