World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) 2020

WTSA-20 took place from 1 to 9 March 2022 preceded by the Global Standards Symposium on 28 February 2022.

The ITU World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) is the primary meeting of the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) where the new leadership team and work program for the sector is defined for the next four years.

WTSA is a non-treaty level conference, however, the recommendations and resolutions that are approved shape the future direction of the Telecommunication Standardization Sector and can pave the way for a much more expansive role beyond ICTs/telecommunications to include work items related to new and emerging technologies.
