Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2025

The 20th annual Internet Governance Forum (IGF) will be held from 23 to 27 June 2025, in Lillestrøm, Norway.

The Internet Society is a longtime supporter of the IGF. We believe that the opportunities we can create by coming together with diverse stakeholders around common themes can help us combat the threats the Internet faces today.

We are attending the 20th annual anniversary meeting:

  • To sustain the Internet’s value for our future, we must recognize and protect what makes it unique—the open, collaborative model that has helped the Internet grow and flourish.
  • To persist in our work to connect the billions of people who remain unconnected.
  • To give decision-makers the information they need to make the right choices through a continued and better multistakeholder Internet governance model.
  • To empower new generations of Internet champions.
