Internet Society Fundamentals 2022

Are you interested in knowing more about Low Earth Orbit Satellites, encryption or other 2022 projects? Better yet, would you like to learn how to amplify the Internet Society’s work so that it benefits your local community?

The Internet Society Fundamentals Program aims to develop the next generation of community leaders, equipping you with the baseline tools and knowledge you need to make a difference, wherever you are.

Through a series of short videos on the topics covered in our 2022 Action Plan, followed by live online discussions, you can take your first step towards extending the Internet’s reach and protecting its long-term wellbeing.

This program is an opportunity for chapter, special interest group (SIG), or standing group (SG) leaders and members:

  • To be introduced to our key 2022 projects and come away with a comprehensive understanding of the work we are undertaking in each
  • Network and share ideas with like-minded Internet Society staff, chapter, SIG and SG leaders, and members from around the world
  • Based on your newly acquired knowledge, understand how to directly contribute to the work of your chapter, SIG or SG
  • Be equipped and ready to take on more in-depth technical training via our learning platform

We’ll be sending an invitation to all chapter members as well as special interest and standing group members, to take part in the program.
