Biography

Margaret Wasserman is the VP of Development at ThingMagic, a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology company. Margaret currently serves as an Iternet Area Director for the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). Within the IETF, Margaret formally served as chair of the Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) and the IPv6 Operations (v6ops) working groups.

Margaret has seventeen years of experience designing, developing, marketing and supporting Internet software products, primarily in the embedded software industry. Prior to joining ThingMagic, Margaret held the position of Engineering Fellow at Nokia, Principal Technologist at WindRiver Systems, Director of Network Engineering at Integrated Systems, Inc. (ISI) and Director of professional Services at FTP Software.
