Alejandra Prieto joined the Internet Society in June 2017 as Program Manager, Internet Leadership. Her primary responsibility is to effectively deliver Global Engagement Programmes, meeting timelines and budget requirements.
Most recently, she was Business Consultant for an Event Management online platform at a start-up in Geneva. From 2012 to 2016, she worked at Dassault Systèmes, “The 3DEXPERIENCE Company”, in Paris. There, she coordinated marketing operations, implemented global projects, executed marketing campaigns, organized events and led eLearning programmes. Previously, she worked as Events and Communications Manager at the European Chemical Region Networks in Brussels.
Alejandra holds a Master’s degree in International Strategic Management from the University of Paris, and two Bachelor's degrees – in Economics and in Business Administration and Management – from the University of Oviedo (Spain). She has lived in 5 countries – Spain, The Netherlands, Belgium, France and Switzerland – and is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
Alejandra is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
