In 2024, the Internet Society Board of Trustees embraced a bold vision, our 2030 Strategy. It sets out two powerful goals that shape everything we do:
- People everywhere have access to affordable, reliable, and resilient Internet
- People everywhere have an Internet experience that is safe, secure, and protects them online
Now, as we move into the second year of this journey, our 2026 Action Plan, alongside the Internet Society Foundation’s plan, shows how we’ll turn these ambitions into reality.
The Internet we want is open, trustworthy, and safe. For everyone. But challenges remain: high costs, fragile infrastructure, shutdowns, and privacy threats.
Our Action Plan is a roadmap for progress, powered by collaboration with our global community. Together, we can make the Internet a force for good — today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.
