We are 5! Can you believe it? We launched this site, and this program at the Internet Society, 5 years ago this week. If you want to take a peek at what now seems like ancient history, check out our welcome blog post.
Almost all of our initial hopes and dreams are still intact. We’re still working to provide real-world deployment information and accelerate the adoption of these technologies by providing the best information we can find to help people start their deployments now.
In the last 5 years, we’ve grown from focusing on IPv6 and DNSSEC to now having published over 1,100 blog posts and 140 resources on IPv6, DNSSEC & DANE, Anti-Spoofing, Securing BGP, and TLS for Applications. We’ve hosted 20 ION Conferences, with #21, ION Islamabad, just 20 days away. We’ve met many of you along the way in person at events all over the globe, and we’ve heard from you from wherever you happened to be via our social media channels.
And we’re just getting started! We still want to hear from you. How can we help you deploy things like IPv6 or DNSSEC? What should we add to the website next?
