Pacific Internet Exchange Point Feasibility Study

As a technical input to the implementation of the Asia-Pacific Information Superhighway (AP-IS) initiative in the Pacific, the Internet Society (ISOC) collaborated with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) to assess if a regional ‘Pacific Internet Exchange Point’ is technically feasible for the purpose of strengthening Internet traffic and network management among Pacific island countries.

This study contributes to the policy dialogue of Pacific island countries on the subject matter.
