- Register for the third Encryption Summit. This year’s theme, “A Shield in Uncertain Times: The Role of Encryption,” will bring together experts, advocates, and policymakers from around the world to explore how encryption protects privacy, security, and trust in a rapidly changing digital environment.
- The Internet Society will host the panel “The Cross-border Cost of Weakening Encryption” (13:00–14:00 UTC), highlighting how global efforts to weaken encryption can create cascading risks across borders and undermine cybersecurity everywhere. Our President and CEO Sally Wentworth will be one of the speakers, joining a distinguished panel of global encryption experts.
- Speak Up for Encryption: On Global Encryption Day, the Global Encryption Coalition wants to highlight how encryption keeps us safe in uncertain times. Promote and share GED on your own social media channels, and how you can let the world know that encryption makes people powerful.
