Welcome to the “preview release” of the DO Hub web site! While our full launch of the site isn’t until December, we wanted to get a preview of the project out publicly so that we could get comments and feedback about what we are doing and where we are going.
Our goal here at the “DO Hub” is to get IPv6 and DNSSEC widely deployed!
We want to help “take away the pain” and help connect people to information that helps them start using these Internet technologies right now.
To do that, we want to work with you all to collect, create, promote and distribute resources that are easy to understand and will let people quickly start deploying Internet technologies like IPv6 and DNSSEC!
We need your help!
If you have ideas and suggestions for the site, we’d love to hear them. Please note that we’re not looking to be the most comprehensive list of resources out there… we want to list the best resources that we can find out there! And in cases where we find gaps, we will be looking to create resources to fill those holes.
In fact, if you would like to volunteer to help us with that work, please let us know!
Over the next two months, we’re going to be making a LOT of changes to the site. We have a lot more content we want to add… and many design changes that we’ll be making. As you wander around this preview site, you may find that some things don’t work… we know there are some things we need to fix. 🙂 You’ll see many more changes in the months ahead.
I should note that our initial focus is on IPv6 and DNSSEC, but over time we expect to expand that focus out to other technologies. We need to crawl before we walk and before we run, though… so we’re keeping a tight focus for the beginning!
We’re excited and looking forward to bringing this site out there to help the Internet community… and we’re very much looking forward to working with you all to make it happen!
