Henri Wohlfarth

Senior Web Developer

I am a Senior Web Developer based in Geneva, Switzerland where I have working for the Internet Society since 2006.
During these many years, I have been working in almost all areas of web development: event registration forms, payment forms, maps, dashboards, user/role/permission aspects, performance tuning, theme development, custom plugin development, maintenance and a lot of troubleshooting.
In previous years, I worked as a web designer for Geneva's cantonal government. Before that time, I was engaged in humanitarian work with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Iraq, Iran, Sri Lanka, and Rwanda.

I am passionate about opensource web tools. My skill sets cover many technical aspects of web design, including HTML, CSS, Jquery, PHP, MySQL, api , theming, Google Analytics, accessibility, performance tuning, Apache/Linux, Cloudflare. I am using GIT for the development flow. In recent years, I have specialised in the Wordpress ecosystem, custom plugin and Gutenberg block development.

Beside my work, I have renovated a 300 year old historic house. I love mountaineering around the Valais in my free time - this is fresh air for my body and my mind.
