Victor Ndonnang joined the Internet Society as Regional Community Engagement Manager for Africa in May 2016. His role is to manage the growing community of ISOC’s Chapters in Africa and lead Chapters’ related activities in the region. Victor has been a part of Internet Society’s (ISOC) extended family for several years, leading the formal creation of ISOC’s Cameroon chapter in 2011 and receiving the Internet Society Next Generation Award in 2012.
Prior to joining the Internet Society (ISOC), Victor worked for the first Internet café in Cameroon (1997) and later as Consultant in Informational Technology (IT) and Domain Name (DNS) Industry. He is very passionate about making the Internet safer for Kids and young people, and empowers them to use it in a more responsible and productive way.
Victor holds several professional certificates in IT, Business and Community Management. He is a native French Speaker and speaks fluent English.
Victor is based in Atlanta, GA United States.
