Biography

Kgopotso Ditshego Magoro (Kgoöikgadi Zuri Wa Aluta) is a fellow of Internet Society and a member of the Internet Society South Africa Gauteng Chapter. She holds a Masters of Management degree in the field of ICT Policy and Regulation (MMICTPR) from Witwatersrand University. She is currently a PhD candidate in the field of interdisciplinary digital knowledge economy at Wits. Zuri Wa Aluta sees herself as an agent of change in the digital knowledge economy ecosystem. She believes in the power of technology as an enabler for socioeconomic change but she is totally against the myopic diffusion of technology and the ticking of check boxes as a measure of success.
