Dr. Crystal Gail Fraser is Gwichyà Gwich'in and originally from Inuvik and Dachan Choo Gę̀hnjik, Northwest Territories, Canada. She recently completed her PhD in Canadian History at the University of Alberta. Crystal's research explores the histories of Indian Residential Schools in the North, gender and sexuality, and Indigenous methods and theories.
