Akriti is a policy professional based in India and a lawyer by training with a LLM in Globalization and Law from Maastricht University, Netherlands. She has worked at the intersection of human rights and internet governance at the Centre for Internet and Society, India for 2 years during which she also chaired the Cross-Community Working Party on Human Rights at ICANN. Subsequently, she joined the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy in their Bangalore team where she engaged with the Karnataka Government. She drafted policies for them and advised on the role of technology in improving urban governance.
At ISOC, she will continue to contribute to digital rights through advocacy in India.
