Mr. Nicolas Seidler

Nicolas joined the Internet Society in February 2010. His first assignment was to contribute to the preparation and operation of outreach campaigns designed to attract new organizational members from the EMEA region. He was also involved in the management and development of ISOC's Next Generation Leaders (NGL) programme aimed at cultivating the emerging generation of Internet policy, business, and technology leaders.

Since January 2011, Nicolas has been Manager of Global Partnerships in the Strategic Global Engagement department. He helps develop institutional partnerships with international and regional organizations, and networks across the Internet ecosystem to engage global policy makers on emerging Internet issues. In this role he contributes to ISOC's engagement with a variety of UN organizations such as ITU and WIPO. He also contributes to coordinating the Internet Technical Advisory Committee to the OECD.

Prior to joining ISOC, Nicolas worked for the International AIDS Society (IAS) as an online media analyst. In this role, he assessed the media impact of their IAS conference, the largest open scientific conference on HIV/AIDS. Nicolas holds a Masters degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva). He also holds a Masters degree in Communication and Media Sciences from the University of Geneva.

He is a native French speaker and speaks English fluently. He also speaks German and Spanish.
