Biographie

Roderick Fanou has been working, since 2013, as a PhD Student at IMDEA Networks Institute.
His research interests are Internet measurement, Impacts of IXPs on the Interdomain routing in Africa, Routing Architecture, and CDNs. He graduated in 2011 with an Engineering degree in Networks and Telecoms at the Polytechnic School of Abomey-Calavi (EPAC, University of Abomey Calavi, Benin). Next, he joined EUPHORBIA Sarl, a local ISP, as an intern. Driven by his desire to help achieve affordable Internet services for everyone, he took some steps towards carrying out research in the field of IP Networking and obtained in 2014 his master degree in Telematics Engineering at University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M, Spain). He is currently at the end of his 2nd year in the Telematics Engineering PhD Program (at the said University) with as PhD Directors Francisco Valera Pintor and Pierre Francois.
