Biografía

Ramadhan Atukwase is a technology and development professional with strong experience in Internet governance, financial stewardship, and youth leadership. He is committed to advancing an open, secure, and inclusive Internet, with a focus on building resilient, community-driven digital ecosystems.

He currently serves as Head of Treasury at Internet Society Uganda, where he supports financial governance, accountability, and the long-term sustainability of chapter activities. In this role, he works closely with leadership to ensure transparent resource management and strategic alignment with the Internet Society’s mission and values.

Beyond ISOC, he serves on the Board of Directors at Tech Reach Africa and as a Board Advisor to the Google Developer Students Club (GDSC) at Ndejje University, contributing to strategic direction, mentorship, and institutional growth across technology and innovation ecosystems. He also serves as the Partnerships and Resource Mobilisation Chairperson at the YALI Uganda Chapter, where he leads partnership development and resource mobilization efforts.

Ramadhan Atukwase is also a National Gender Youth Activist and has been part of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) planning committees for the past five years. His work spans strategic communication, Member States advocacy, the development of Global Youth Recommendations, pre- and post-CSW engagement processes, and CSW-specific UN language training initiatives. As a social entrepreneur and community development practitioner, he brings a global, systems-focused perspective to Internet governance, digital inclusion, and youth empowerment.
