Senior Manager, Community Engagement - Latin America

Biographie

I joined the Internet Society since 2015. I work as Senior Community Engagement Manager for Latin America. My current role is to strengthen and develop local chapters and communities in order to promote and support Internet development. Working with members has been a life experience. It taught me how powerful we are when we work together and that there are no impossibles when we believe in ourselves and focus on a common goal. Our volunteers are more than that, they are changemakers and together we are building a world full of opportunities and better quality of life for all. Connection by connection, we will make a difference!

I am a passionate professional in topics related to coaching, agility, and innovation. Before joining Internet Society, I worked for more than 15 years at international companies as project manager, business analyst, business consultant, and university teacher.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master's degree in Project Management, a Master's degree in Coaching and Organizational Leadership and I am also internationally certified as: Neurolinguistic Programing Master (NLP), Agile Coach (ACPC), Scrum Master (SMC), Product Owner (SPOPC), Innovation Management (IMPC), Design Thinking (DTPC), and Objectives and Key Results (OKR).

I am from Heredia, Costa Rica. In my free time, I love to dance, swim open water, and pend time with my husband and daughter. Pura Vida!
