Victor Ndonnang

Senior Manager, Community Engagement, Africa

Biographie

I joined the Internet Society as Regional Community Engagement Manager for Africa in May 2016. I help grow, nurture, equip, and engage the community of chapters in the Africa region to advance the projects and initiatives of the Internet Society.  I help bring the regional perspectives and ensure local impact of the Internet Society's global work.

Prior to joining the Internet Society, I worked for the first Internet café in Cameroon in 1997 and later as consultant in the information technology and the DNS industries. I have been a part of Internet Society’s community for several years, leading the creation of Internet Society Cameroon Chapter in 2011. I received the Internet Society Next Generation Award in 2012 for my work on a safer Internet and the empowerment of young people for a more responsible and productive use of the Internet.

When I'm not busy in community building, empowerment, and engagement, I enjoy walking and exploring healthy eating.
