Josephine Miliza (Kenya) is the Project Lead for a community wireless network initiative known as TunapandaNET. The project is focusing on building a digital ecosystem in education and health for rural and informal settlements in Kenya. The pilot project is in Nairobi where they are providing connectivity and digital literacy training for schools in the Kibera slum. Josephine is passionate about closing the connectivity divide, especially in Africa, for socio economic empowerment. She has a background in network engineering, and is currently looking to complete a Masters degree in Technology Entrepreneurship.
