I work as Senior Policy Advisor at the Internet Society, focusing on policy issues related to interconnection infrastructure, innovative access solutions, and sustainable connectivity models. I aspire to help connect as many people as possible to the great resource that it is the Internet.
I've been an active participant in the Internet ecosystem and telecommunications industry, working for LACNIC, the Latin-American Regional Internet Registry, as policy officer and resource analyst, and holding engineering roles at Telefonica Moviles, back in my home town in Uruguay.
I'm a Telecommunications Engineer from ORT University in Montevideo, Uruguay, and have a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom, where I currently and happily live.
