Director, Policy and External Engagement

Biography

I help governments develop strategies that enable people to maximize the Internet's benefit to their daily lives. I build the capacity of decision-makers to understand and apply technology principles to policymaking, and convene thought leaders to tackle emerging Internet issues. I lead projects that advance the Internet Society's mission, and represent the organization in international fora such as the Christchurch Call Advisory Committee.

Prior to joining the Internet Society, I was a development analyst for the global consulting firm Devex, examining public private partnerships trends in development cooperation, and edited the features section of the business daily BusinessWorld.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Media, Communications, and Development from the London School of Economics, and a degree in Asian Studies from the University of the Philippines.
