Abstract

Comprehensive Internet security can’t be accomplished alone.  It depends on collaboration with various departments within the company as well as with external organizations. Effective collaboration and commitment has enabled PayPal to work with organizations such as the IETF, W3C, MAAWG, and FIDO Alliance in the design, development, and deployment of key technologies such as Hypertext Strict Transport Security (HSTS), Content Security Policy (CSP), Domain-based Messaging Authentication, Reporting, & Conformance (DMARC), and Fast Identity Online (FIDO). This talk provides an overview of our approach to Ecosystem Security, illustrated by some successes, and touching on what’s coming next.
