Latin American Summit on Community Networks 2019

The Internet Society joined organizations from the Latin American and Caribbean region to hold the second Latin American Summit of Community Networks. The event was organized by the Fusa Libre Collective, the University of Cundinamarca, the Internet Society Community Networks Special Interest Group (CN-SIG) and the Internet Society Colombia Chapter.

The event was held from September 24 to 28, 2019 at the facilities of the University of Cundinamarca, in Fusagasugá, Cundinamarca, Colombia. The Summit was attended by representatives of 24 groups in the region, which currently operate community networks.

This second edition followed up on the experience of the first Summit, held in 2018 in Córdoba, Argentina.
