2nd Annual Digital Access Day

Safe and secure IoT puts people first.

The 2nd Annual Digital Access Day was held on May 28, 8:30-17:00 in Ottawa, Canada. The event brought together thought-leaders from NGOs, the tech sector, government, universities, and those most affected by the digital divide to talk about good work already underway, identify what else can be done, and measure progress.

Andrew Sullivan, our CEO and President, delivered a keynote speech entitled The network of human networks and the shared fate of the Internet. Mark Buell, Regional Bureau Director for North America participated on the Safety & Privacy-Internet of Things Safety & Awareness panel. Katie Jordan, Senior Policy Advisor, North America facilitated a panel on Savvy Surfing.

The event was organized by the Internet Society Canada Chapter.
