I am the Regional Community Engagement Manager, Asia-Pacific for the Internet Society.
I am responsible for managing, mobilizing, and engaging the Internet Society chapters across the Asia-Pacific toward achieving our objectives.
Prior to joining the Internet Society, I volunteered as the Program Coordinator at the Internet Society Malaysia Chapter for four years. I was also selected as an Internet Society ambassador to the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Paris, a Google fellow to the Internet Governance Forum 2019 in Berlin, and a Goethe Institut fellow to the Youth IGF Summit in Germany.
Within the Asia-Pacific region, my involvement in the Internet governance ecosystem is evident through my active participation at the Asia-Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) Russia as a fellow, the Asia-Pacific Top-Level Domain (APTLD) Meeting at Iskandar Puteri in Johor, Malaysia, Youth IGF Asia-Pacific in Vladivostok, and the Internet Society’s Asia-Pacific chapters and special interest group workshop in Kuala Lumpur. I was also nominated and selected by the US State Department to participate in TechCamp Taipei, Taiwan in 2019 and I was a fellow to the Asia-Pacific Internet Governance Academy (APIGA) in Seoul, South Korea.

I am a native Malay speaker and speak fluent English. I also speak some French and Arabic.
