Todd M. Tolbert is the Chief Administrative Officer for the Internet Society. He joined the organization in September 2012 as the Sr. Director of Information Technology. Todd was appointed CAO in January 2016 and provides leadership, strategic direction and coordination of the Internet Society’s administrative resources; including Information Technology, physical plant, budgeting, project management and business process operations.

Todd has over 27 years of business and technology leadership, with extensive experience in project and resource management as well as strategic operational and technology alignment. He has worked in the new media, advertising, public relations, direct marketing, association, not for profit and education industries.

Todd joined ISOC after several years of consulting and technology leadership. He started TMTC LLC in 2009 as a resource to help organizations better utilize their content and technology to meet the needs of their constituents via digital means. Later, Todd merged TMTC with AVMG, Inc. and created Strategic Content Solutions to provide similar services to AVMG’s event and technology clients as well.

Todd’s career includes executive positions with The Teaching Company, Screenvision Cinema Networks, Weber Shandwick Worldwide and TM Advertising.

He holds a BBA from West Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.  He is a frequent contributor to the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and other technology and business membership organizations.

Tolbert is based in the Reston, VA USA Office.
