Elizabeth Oluoch-Do Canto

Executive Assistant to President/CEO

Elizabeth Oluoch-Do Canto joined the Internet Society in April 2008 as the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO of the Internet Society. In this position, Elizabeth supports the Internet Society’s Chief Executive Officer and the governance and administrative functions of that office.

Previously, Elizabeth served as Senior Assistant to the Vice President of Resource Development at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, in Washington, D.C., where she managed the administrative operations of the Foundation’s development division and was chiefly responsible for helping to coordinate and expand the Foundation’s fundraising and development activities.

Before joining the Foundation, Elizabeth served as Senior Manager for Administration for, TranSecur, a global travel security information provider. Before being promoted to the Senior Manager position, Elizabeth served as Executive Assistant to TranSecur’s President/CEO and founder, a former United States Assistant Secretary of Defense.

Elizabeth has significant cross cultural experience, having studied, traveled and lived in many parts of Africa and Europe. She received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of North Carolina Central, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is also a graduate of Princethorpe College in Warwickshire, England.

Elizabeth is based in Reston, United States
