WASHINGTON, D.C. and GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – June 14, 2012 – The Internet Society today announced that Maarten Botterman has been reappointed to the Public Interest Registry (PIR) Board of Directors for a three-year term, beginning June 6, 2012. Maarten Botterman has previously served as Chair of the PIR Board of Directors.
As leading websites, ISPs, and home router equipment manufacturers support IPv6 by default, it becomes the new normal for the Internet
Expresses concern on pending international proposals that pose a potential threat to the innovative, collaborative, and open nature of the Internet
