Online Trust Alliance to operate within Internet Society as key initiative
Washington, DC- 3 April 2017 -- The Internet Society has named Tim Hoswitschka to the role of Senior Director, Partnerships and Development where he will be responsible for developing and leading ISOC’s global fundraising strategy.

Washington, DC- 13 March 2017 -- The Internet Society today announced that Jeffrey Bedser has been appointed to the Public Interest Registry (PIR) Board of Directors. He will serve a term of three years as will returning board member Eric Burger. Hartmut Glaser is also a returning board member who will serve a term of one year.

[Geneva, Switzerland] – Reflecting the increasing importance of cross-border collaboration in addressing cybersecurity issues, the Internet Society today announced that it has joined the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace (GCSC).
[Guadalajara, Mexico – 7 December 2016] – At the 11th Internet Governance Forum (IGF), a United Nations-convened conference taking place in Mexico, 6-9 December, the Internet Society urged the global Internet community to redouble its efforts in addressing the wave of unprecedented challenges facing the Internet.
