You can choose between two types of individual membership .

• Global Member (free)
• Sustaining Member (annual fee $75)

Both types of membership give you the opportunity to actively participate in Internet Society activities.

Joining the Internet Society is easy

• Choose if you want to be a Global or Sustaining member (see below for the difference between the two memberships)
• Provide your payment information if you decide to be a Sustaining member

All members (Global and Sustaining):

• Participate in Internet Society surveys and discussion groups.
• Join an existing Chapter or start a new one.

Sustaining members:

• Make a difference by directly impacting our policy, regional development and standards initiatives through your financial support.
